The Perfect Miami Bachelorette Trip (The Spots My Friends Swear By)

Miami might be the ultimate bachelorette city. You get beach days, yacht days, glam dinners, and a nightlife scene that doesn't really have an off switch. If your bride wants sun all day and sparkle all night, this is the trip.
I'll be honest with you up front: I haven't done Miami myself (yet!). But I know dozens of girls who have done Miami girls' trips and bachelorettes, so I asked them for their favorite spots. These are the places that came up again and again.
I've organized it the way a Miami weekend usually goes: where to stay, a beach day, a yacht day, big dinners, brunch, and the nights out. There's a sample itinerary at the end if you want the whole weekend mapped out.
You can also see the whole trip as a carousel on our Instagram.
Where to Stay in Miami
Miami is spread out, so the neighborhood you pick shapes the whole trip. Here's how my friends broke it down.
South Beach is the classic first-time pick. You can walk to the beach clubs, Ocean Drive, and a lot of the dinner spots, which means fewer rides and more time together. If this is your group's first Miami trip, start here.
Mid-Beach is a little calmer, with bigger, resort-style stays. It's a good fit if your group wants the pool days to feel like a real getaway, and you're still close to South Beach when it's time to go out.
Brickell / Downtown is all skyline views and rooftops. It's the closest area to Club Space and E11even, so it's a smart pick if the big nights out are the main event for your group.
Wynwood / Edgewater is the trendier, artsy option, with great food and bars. It's perfect for a group that wants the trip to feel a little more creative and a little less touristy.
Wherever you land, try to keep the whole group under one roof, or at least in the same building. Getting ready together is half the fun, and it makes heading out as a group so much easier.
Tip: For groups of six or more, a rental house or a block of hotel rooms is usually easier than cramming everyone into one big room. Keep everyone's booking info and flights in one place in VowCrew, so nobody has to dig through the group chat for a confirmation number.
Beach Day
You can't go to Miami and skip the beach. Plan at least one full day in the sun.
Pura Vida is where my friends start the day. Grab a healthy breakfast, an acai bowl, and a coffee before you hit the sand, so everyone has something in their stomach before the drinks start.
Nikki Beach is the one everyone mentions first. It's a beach club, and it's the ultimate bach day party: music, drinks, and the whole crew dressed up for the sun. If your bride wants one big daytime moment, this is it.
Strawberry Moon is a pastel, retro rooftop pool scene. It's the spot for the group that wants the cutest pool photos and a slightly more laid-back afternoon.
If you're doing a regular beach day, rent chairs and umbrellas so you aren't fighting the sun all afternoon. And don't skip the photo in front of one of the colorful South Beach lifeguard towers.
Yacht Day
If there's one thing every girl I asked told me not to skip, it's the yacht day. It's the best way to see Miami's skyline from the water, and a lot of groups head out to the famous Haulover sandbar scene.
Compare boats and read reviews on booking platforms like Boatsetter, GetMyBoat, and Viator. Read the most recent reviews, and look at photos of the actual boat, not just the listing's cover photo.
If anyone in your group gets seasick, give them a heads-up before the trip so they can plan ahead. Nobody wants to spend the best day of the weekend feeling awful.
A few things to sort out before you book:
- Book early. Popular weekend dates go fast, so lock in your boat as soon as you know your dates.
- Ask what's included. Check whether the captain, fuel, ice, speakers, and water toys are part of the booking or extra.
- Bring your own drinks if it's allowed. Ask first, then decide who's bringing what so you don't end up with six bottles of the same thing.
- Coordinate matching swimsuits. The bride in white, everyone else in one color. The photos will be worth it.
- Split the cost in VowCrew. Log the deposit and the rest of the bill as shared expenses, so one person isn't fronting the whole boat.
Dinner & Rooftop Drinks
Miami dinners are an event. Get dressed up, take the group photo before you sit down, and plan on staying a while. With this many good options, pick one dinner per night and let the bride choose the big one.
MILA is MediterrAsian food with a rooftop scene. It's a great pick for the welcome dinner, when everyone's excited and wants a view.
Carbone is classic Italian, and almost every girl I asked brought up the spicy rigatoni. Order it for the table.
Sexy Fish has over-the-top decor and is very Instagram. Go when the group wants the most dramatic photos of the trip.
Catch is the spot for sushi and a scene. It's a nice middle ground between a sit-down dinner and a night out.
COTE is a Korean steakhouse with tableside grilling, so dinner feels like part of the fun. It's great for a group that loves sharing plates.
Prime 112 is the classic see-and-be-seen steakhouse. Save it for the big glam dinner night.
Tip: Reserve dinners weeks ahead for big groups, and add every reservation to your shared itinerary in VowCrew so everyone knows when and where to show up.
Brunch
Brunch is where the weekend recovers, and then gets going again.
Palace Bar on Ocean Drive is known for its drag brunch, with bottomless mimosas and a show that gets the whole table cheering. It's an iconic bach move, and it's the brunch to plan the rest of the day around.
Joe's Stone Crab is a Miami institution. It's a good pick for a more classic group meal, especially if someone in your crew wants the most "Miami" meal of the trip.
Cecconi's is the Italian restaurant inside Soho Beach House in Mid-Beach, and its weekend brunch is the polished, linger-all-afternoon option. You don't need a Soho House membership to book, which makes it an easy upgrade for the group.
Bulla Gastrobar is Spanish tapas with bottomless mimosas and sangría on weekends. It's off the beach, in Coral Gables, Doral, and Aventura, but it's a great pick for a big group that wants to share plates and keep the drinks coming.
Girls' Night Out
Miami nightlife is the reason a lot of groups pick Miami in the first place. Here's where the girls I asked ended up.
Plan the nights around the group's energy, too. A club night right after a long yacht day can be a lot, so a lowkey bar might be the smarter call that night. Save the biggest club for the night everyone's rested.
LIV is the legendary Miami Beach club. If the bride has one club on her list, it's probably this one.
E11even is a 24/7 club Downtown with wild performances. It's the place for the group that never wants the night to end.
Club Space is famous for its rooftop and dancing until sunrise. Go if your group loves music and has the energy to stay out.
Mynt Lounge is a South Beach club, and it's an easy pick if you're staying nearby.
For a lowkey night, these came up too:
- Broken Shaker is one of the best cocktail bars in Miami Beach, according to just about everyone I asked. It's a great place to start the night.
- Sweet Liberty is a fun bar that works well for big groups.
- Basement has bowling and ice skating with DJs, which makes a fun change from another club night.
Tip: Book tables or get on guest lists in advance, and agree on a group budget before the trip. Then track who paid for what in VowCrew, so settling up after the weekend is easy and nobody has to send awkward reminder texts.
Sample 3-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive and check in, spend the afternoon at the beach, have a welcome dinner, then head out for the first night.
Day 2: Yacht day, then rest and get ready. Glam dinner, then the club.
Day 3: Drag brunch, one last pool session, and fly home.
